The ZIP password checker is a security utility designed to test whether an encrypted ZIP file uses a common weak password. If you want to check whether your own archive password is easy to guess, or you received an encrypted archive that may use a simple numeric code, this utility can provide common password lists and numeric combinations for fast batch testing. Most importantly, everything runs locally in your browser to keep both files and passwords private.

How to batch test ZIP passwords online?

• Import file:Drag the .zip archive you want to test into the dashed area at the top of the page.
• Configure dictionary:If the archive is encrypted, the system prepares a common weak-password list by default. You can also generate numeric dictionaries with 4 to 6 digits using one click, or paste your own password list into the text box with one password per line.
• Start testing:Click the start batch test button and the utility will run quickly in the background while showing the current progress and the password being tested.
• Get results:As soon as the correct password is found, the test stops and highlights it immediately. If the entire dictionary is tested without success, the utility will suggest trying a more complex list.
